Claire Leblond started Leblond Design as a side project in between juggling being a full time Mum, Chief Home Operator and helping other maker-minded folk with their own creations. From a humble market stall business located in Auckland, New Zealand, Leblond Design has grown to become a business in it's own right. It's still pretty much a one woman show, with some additional support from fellow crafters making specialist items for the dolls such as custom knitting and clothing.

Being half-french, born in Cape Town, South Africa and having lived in both London and Sydney before settling in New Zealand, Claire draws on a range of experiences for creative inspiration.  A graduate of the Australian School of Colour and Design, Claire continues to expand her design skills and blends a passion for textiles with technical design expertise to create unique craft items.
